Ten districts attended the Battle of the Books event celebrating the Golden Sower books, held March 25 in Sutherland. Trophies were given to Wallace for the Honeybee division and Sutherland for the Meadowlark division. This event was funded by the John Russell Applegate grant. ESU 16, Sutherland Public Schools and the ESU 16 Librarians PLC organized the day.
