MONDAY
May we start this week with Thankfulness in the blessing we all have.

The COVID-19 pandemic has not stood in our way for Teaching Studies in Wallace. Deb Jameson provided an AMAZING lesson to the 4th grade class utilizing technology and ELA techniques. Those kiddos 💙 her! #WhatInspirESU #TeachingStudies

Things are different this year. HAL workshops for kids can come to your school! Contact Lou at ESU 16 to set up a topic, details and day! There will be no cost for consortium schools, but non consortium schools can still participate for a nominal fee.

This Cadre of #TeachingStudies is ROCKING IT! Today, Kim's class tracked potato chips from Minden, NE to Frito-Lay in KS and then into their Wallace classroom. The students got to taste test different potato chips to tally the class favorite. #WhatInspirESU #ImmersiveLearning

It's National School Psychology Week (NSPW) 2020
During the week of November 9-13, 2020 schools throughout the United States will celebrate National School Psychology Week (NSPW) to highlight the important work school psychologists and other educators do to help all students thrive. This year's theme is "The Power of Possibility." The word "possibility" implies hope, growth, resilience and renewal. Possibility suggests that even something as small as a seed can grow into something magnificent. The word "power" implies that things can and will happen. When we focus on what is possible, we have hope that students will grow, thrive and bloom.
