In May 2024, over 90 leaders and educators across the state of Nebraska participated in a needs assessment. The analysis of this data has resulted in the four topics being offered, which you can find below.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer! Here are ESU 16 CPI Training Dates for the 24-25 school year. If interested please register at registration.esu16.org. Our three instructors are looking forward to instructing CPI 3rd Edition that recently came out. This program is trauma-informed care and teaches brain science when it comes to behavior!!
To keep our Team performing at their peak, beginning in June, we will be switching to our summer hours! Friday's in June & July Ogallala Central Office will close at 2 p.m. MT. North Platte Special Services Center will be open M-F from 7:30-4. In August we will resume normal business hours of 7:30 to 4. Thank you for your understanding - Enjoy your summer!

Thank you to the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation-John Russell Applegate for funding three ESU 16 staff members to be certified as CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) Instructors. ESU 16 hosted the certified instructor training which allowed instructors in our state to get certified by a Global Instructor who was AMAZING. ESU 16 is looking forward to providing CPI training throughout the 24-25 school year with our now three instructors. 24-25 CPI Training dates will be coming out soon!
What a great 2 days at ESU 16 learning about Mental Wellness practices and systems with by Ricky Robertson. Thank you to all our ESU 16 schools who attended and thanks to Homestead Pumpkin Patch for the awesome facility and view!
