Busy Bees Preschool in Mullen completed a short course about Social-Emotional Learning for young children. As a result, she received a Calming Corner for her classroom valued over $2,000 courtesy of Lakeshore! The preschoolers are loving the Calming Corner!
Just a reminder to be cautious of emails you will start receiving this time of year dealing with IRS, Black Friday deals, returned item emails, charges to your account, etc. Always check the sending email address to verify it matches who it says that it is. If you question the validity look up the company number yourself and give them a call.

Learning in the Heartland is a program designed to bring books to life with virtual field trips! Children watch a virtual tour of a veterinary office and learn how a vet performs a check-up on a dog. They learn how to care for animals through multiple activities too!

ESU 16 Network Operations Department sponsored a recycling event with American Recycling for school districts yesterday. Approximately 10 tons of technology was sent away to be recycled.
LAN managers from ten ESU school districts attended ESU 16 Sysops yesterday. Topics included security, artificial intelligence, erate and more. A great day of learning and sharing!
