National School Counseling Week 2020, "School Counselors: Helping Build Better Humans," will be celebrated from Feb. 3-7, 2020, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by ASCA, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the first full week in February.

Remember, your mental health needs to be nurtured everyday just like your physical health. If you have children in your life, then you play a critical role in not only supporting your own mental health, but supporting theirs as well. Children need love, consistency, connection, and so much more. The little things that we do as adults every day to support their social emotional well being tremendously impacts their mental health for a lifetime.
When a hard of hearing student is learning something new please remember the check in with them to make sure they understand the new concept.
