Monday was the field day for this ESU 16 student zoom group. They attended a virtual field trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo aquarium, played indoor and outdoor games, and created crafts. The field trip was supported by a John Russell Applegate grant through the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.

The OWLS students have been busy this week! The students visited the ER at Great Plains Health. Steph gave a tour, and she showed them all the cool gadgets. She also talked about how the students can advocate for themselves if they ever have to visit the ER. LifeNet/Air Methods showed us the helicopter and answered all of our questions. Thank you to Great Plains Health and LifeNet North Platte!
We would like to thank the Garden Glove for donating a bunch of flower pots to the OWLS/Transition students for their greenhouse. And also, thank you to Barbie for giving us a tour of all of the greenhouses!
