It is National Deaf Awareness Week! This week the Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at ESU 16 will be sharing some TIPS for when you are visiting with your hard of hearing students, friends or family members.
Friday's Tip Of The Day: Be aware of the fatigue factor. Listening with a hearing loss is quite tiring. As the day wears on, your student, friend or family member may need a break from watching and listening. Accurate listening may wane in the latter part of the school/work day.
