It is National Deaf Awareness Week! This week the Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at ESU 16 will be sharing some TIPS for when you are visiting with your hard of hearing students, friends or family members.
Monday's Tip Of The Day: Your student, friend or family member will find it easier to speechread if you avoid chewing gum, avoid putting papers or your hands in front of your face and if you have one, keeping your mustache well-trimmed.

Owls students visited the Creation Station at the North Platte Public Library. They learned how to make buttons and were excited about the 3 D printer. Then they picked out books they are interested in reading. The Library staff are very nice to teach us skills at the Creation Station.
